The cover is this album shows a surreal animal hybrid with 3 different heads. This is the bizarre sonic world of Kryptzoologie, the imaginary vision of Martin Steinebach. The debut release of this new project delivers a fascinating voyage through the odd ambient fields of this German artist. He creates a collage of ambient moods recovered with lots of experimental sounds. “Compest” has been characterized by multiple manipulations and effects, which create a refreshing kind of ambient approach. Next we get some cool rhythmic that makes it all sound more fascinating and accessible. This is the kind of ambient release that takes some distance with the standard forms we’ve been used to hear for quite a long time. This is an experiment in ambient delivering some cool cuts. This is the 2nd release on Einzeleinheit and a damned good one!
