Dense Vision Shrine is a project by Karsten Hamre, who participated in other dark projects like Arcane Art, Defraktor and Penitent (ex-Cold Meat Industry). With “Die My Illusion” he releases Dense Vision Shrine’s fourth cd, this time on Einzelheit Records.

“Die My Illusion” exists of one track, counting 71 minutes. The sound collages slowly drag you into a black hole of nothingness with the use of extremely low frequencies, sometimes making my windows resonate. Slowly grinding chain work, underground shock waves; malformed classical arrangements; all kinds of sound associations pass the revue. All this leaves me feeling slightly claustrophobic.

Make sure you feel physically fit and that you are not easily given headache, for “Die My Illusion” isn’t for the weak.
