Funked out electronics, sampled acoustic instruments and a good dash of attitude makes Brian's music quite compelling. Attitude. He takes chances and it works, the samples are melted into the music, they don't stand alone but enhance the music and the music enhances the samples. The rhythms and melodies he makes is funky. Imagine if James Brown had a copy of Reason and drank way too much sugared soda and was a punk ass kid again. This isn't as hard/harsh as Kid 606, instead this has more art and technique.
