Suneaters
The electronics of the legendary "Berlin School" of the 70s are coming back to life again! Tobias Fischer (Naarmann und Neiteler) and Mirko Uhlig (Aalfang mit Pferdekopf) are openly displaying their love for floating pads, pulsating sequencers, dynamic melodies and freely breathing soundscapes. The duo combines the warmth and deepnes of analogue "cosmic music" with emotional drones and contemporary electronics. References are plentiful, ranging from the great pioneers Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze, as well as Kluster and Eno to the magical musical territories of Coil, Robert Fripp and Mirror.
Just wake up!
Their first album, "Cosmic Insight, Baby", a well-balanced mixture of electronic moods, is being mastered by Dirk Fischer (Skin Audio Studios) right now. Expect it to be out at the end of 2005 or early 2006.
