Juan Matos Capote

Juan Matos Capote is a Spanish sound and visual artist based in Brooklyn, New York. He is a scholar of Reed Ghazala, the father of Circuit Bending and Pauline Oliveros, as well as one half of the soundart duo Thick Wisps. His work is marked by combinations of organic and electronic material, free improvisation and careful composition as well as by the search for reoccuring patterns in our seemingly random sound environment.
