Jan-M Iversen

Jan-M Iversen is one of the busiest men in the business. In a mere four years time, he has established his record company TIBProd as a potent, lively, energetic and diverse webspace, while simultaneously turning into an active studio- and live musician in his own right. More and more, the two latter faculties have merged, as Iversen discovered the joys of live interaction and real-time recording thanks to his ongoing and deep collaboration with Sindre Bjerga. While his solo career is profiting from this additional element of spontaneity, it is still quite a bit off the concert situation. In works like “Wiederkehrende Welten”, which combine his love for microtonal crackling, sudden bursts of noise, weird rhythmic semblances and drones, you can almost physically feel the care and attention for the tiniest of details – and get lost completely in the surreal scenery.
