Already for some time, Karsten Hamre is one of Ambient's most important names and Dense Vision Shrine is currently his most important project/ While Arcane Art, Defraktor and Penitent were more clearly genre-orientated, he here intensely focusses on insistent, emotional sounds/ Deep dark streams run through unexplored worlds with seemless segues between night and day/ "Like a classical orchestra playing behind a veil of opium smoke"/ His new work, "Die my Illusion" is without any doubt some kind of definite statement in terms of dark ambient: A single composition, nearly one and a quarter hours long/ "Die my Illusion" is coming soon on einzeleinheit.
