Einzeleinheit 006 Robert Neiteler: "ihbaiklhikö"
First solo album by one half of half-loved, half-hated duo Naarmann and Neiteler. And “ihbaiklhikö” is sure to shock the faint-harted even more: Like Aphex Twin in Kindergarten or Autechre with a smile, these six tracks conjur up a lot of comparisons, while always remaining unclassifiable. Punchingly crunching sound stabs and bizarrely babbling noise bubbles form otherwordly rhythmical structures, occasionaly joined by some organ motives and tiny melodies. On Part III, there is even a duet between brutal mechanical beats and some happily chirping birds, while Part V is a pure psychedelic Goa-Trance monster. While a hard bite at first, these pieces take you deeper and deeper into their strangely appealing realms with each listen. Interface music at its most extreme.
